Tour
vehicles
Depending on what type of tour you are on, would depend
on the type of vehicle. Our guided safari tours use
either 4x4 (four wheel drive) Toyota Land cruiser, Land
Rovers or for comfort the VW Kombi bus are used for
smaller safari groups.
The self drives have
a choice of vehicles which are available at various
prices. You can choose the more economy standard A class,
which is a 1.3 Volkswagen or Toyota and the next grade
a Nissan Almera 1.6. The four wheel drive vehicles range
between Toyota / Nissan single cabins or double cabins
and come fully equipped if you want to take the Adventurer
package. All vehicles are equipped with air-conditioners,
power steering and a radio.
Lodges and Camp Site
Namibia has a variety of privately owned Lodges each
with their own charm and hospitality. Many of these
lodges were once uneconomical farms. Now they are unique
establishments each offering something different.
All our accommodation selected for the various packages
is hand picked by our team, and selected to provide
you with comfort. Many of the lodges are selected because
of the activities they offer, which we feel will make
your time in Namibia a more interesting and relaxing
experience.
The Luxury package hotels
and lodges are all of a high standard and offer our
travellers the ultimate luxury experience. Most of the
lodges offer activities not to be missed, which we include
in the package.
The Comfortable package hotels and lodges are selected
because they offer good value for money and comfortable
and relaxing services.
The Budget package hotels and lodges are selected on
the basis that they have clean and comfortable rooms
and facilities and are good value for money.
The Adventurer package consists of a mixture of accommodation
offered in all the above packages and has a good variety
of hotels and lodges you can stay at. The camping places
are selected on the basis that they are clean and offer
good facilities.
Meals
Namibian cuisine consists mostly of meat and fish and
you will find that all the hotels offer good value quality
meals. Namibia's speciality is game or venison meat
and if you are a keen protein lover - then this is the
place for you. Most hotels and lodges will offer a set
menu with a choice of meat or fish. Breakfasts are usually
served in the form of a buffet meal.
Vegetarians: All menus are prepared
for the “not so strict” vegetarians. However
strict vegetarians can be catered for. Please advise
us if you are a vegetarian or if you have an allergic
reaction to any kind of foods.
